Holly recently spoke at the Family Firm Institute’s global conference in London on gamification in family business consulting. Gamification, the incorporation of game elements and game design techniques in non game contexts has been shown to increase engagement, retention and innovation in business applications. A long time user of games in family meetings and family eduational initiatives, Holly has been playing with gamification in several family engagements over the last year or two and the presentation was the beginning of many on the topic. Holly published an article on gamification in Family Business Magazine earlier this year.
